MESSAGE FROM THE CONFERENCE DIRECTORS - 2010
Our plenary session this year is on Resolution of International Tax Disputes on Day Two. We have planned a three-day programme with concurrent sessions on separate topics on Day Three. They are (i) Day One: (a) An Update on the Proposed Direct Tax Code in India, and (b) International Structuring for Investing Abroad, (ii) Day Two: (a) Resolution of International Tax Disputes, and (b) Country Experiences, and (iii) Concurrent sessions on Day Three: (a) International Tax Developments - Model Treaty Developments and Recent International Tax Changes, and (b) Transfer Pricing Disputes and their Prevention. The concluding session includes a question and answer session with the Indian Transfer Pricing Directorate and a panel discussion on the proposed Direct Tax Code in India, which will be televised by Bloomberg UTV in India.
